Drawing on its extensive expertise across the entire energy transition value chain, Qualiwatt has also launched a B2C “self-consumption” business for the residential solar market.

For the past 1 year, this B2C market for roof-mounted kits has been booming due to the current energy context, and by drawing on its solid background, reputation for quality workmanship, and upstream expertise in sizing systems as closely as possible to requirements, Qualiwatt aims to establish itself as a major player in the installation of photovoltaic panels, while industrializing this activity on a national scale. The company already has a dedicated structure and several regional installation teams to respond to the many requests received.

Qualiwatt is now recruiting a Business Manager to give concrete expression to its strong ambition to expand nationwide.

Job description

You will work under the responsibility of the Managing Director. You will be in charge of setting up and managing the department dedicated to residential and small tertiary photovoltaics throughout France. In this capacity, as a true Business Partner to the CEO, your objective will be to develop the sales and margins of this department.

Your tasks :

1/ Business launch
  • Define the strategic plan in collaboration with the manager, define the “go to market”, draw up the value proposition, pricing... in line with the company's strong ambitions for national development.
  • You will define the target organization at national level, prioritize the coverage of the various regions and recruit the resources needed to expand the sales department and achieve your objectives.
  • Drawing up the business plan, structuring the sales approach and the business system, recruiting and coordinating a network of partners, lead management of business, managing the sales team, etc.
2/ Business management
  • Definition of the target organization, recruitment and management of resources, definition and monitoring of KPIs, management of relations with the ecosystem. You define and monitor the KPIs for the business (direct and indirect), and report regularly to your management.
  • As the team grows, you will set up a structured organization, and the middle management needed to guarantee the highest level of quality, on-time delivery and performance of your business.
3/ Sales development
  • Define operational marketing and communication plans.
  • You will define strategic development priorities in collaboration with the company's top management, and contribute to enriching the service offering and developing the value proposition.
  • You play an active role in the lead generation strategy and in sales actions where necessary.
4/ But also
  • Handle and follow up on incoming requests for quotes from private individuals.
  • Organize follow-up for prospects contacted. Use the database and CRM functionalities.
  • Build and maintain a relationship of trust with customers, define the right solution and close sales.
  • Ensure remote follow-up of worksites, in liaison with installers or partner installers.
  • Manage your business autonomously and with versatility, right through to receipt of payment.
  • Identify and negotiate with relevant contacts.
  • Contribute to achieving the team's monthly objectives and participate in the life of a fast-growing company.
Proposed package: 60/70 K€ (fixed + variable) depending on profile and experience, as well as objectives.

Profile required

  • You have a Bac +3/Bac +4 qualification, ideally from an engineering or business school, or you have successful experience in sales, or at least initial experience in a similar position. Ideally with a specialization in renewable energies or in a field related to energy efficiency, you can demonstrate successful experience in recruiting, developing and leading a network of installers of photovoltaic systems, or in heating/air conditioning or insulation.
  • In addition to your sales expertise, you have a real strategic dimension and the skills needed to manage a business.
